I was contacted last Tuesday at work from this company claiming I owe over $1000 on a payday advance loan. I did send them $200 since they were claiming that I would be arrested the following day if I failed to respond. I work for a law firm and have retained a lawyer. I plan to track and sue this company and bring hell on them with the Attorney General's Office. They are NOT a bonded collection agency so you are not required by law to send them any money. Also, you need to be properly notified by mail of your rights before they can proceed with filing charges.

LEGAL PROCESSING ASSOCIATES HAVE CHANGED THEIR NAME TO LEGAL ARBITRATION ASSOCIATES - SAME CROOKS - DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY!!

AUTHOR: Jesse - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 05, 2007

I was contacted last week again by Legal Arbitration Associates. I reconginzed the individual's voice and have it recorded on CD. They claim they are not the same company as Legal Processing Associates and are not a debt collector but want you to wire them money because of a default on a loan. They are committing a white collar crime. I work for a law firm and one of the lawyers is assisting me in tracking down this person or persons. Fortunately, my lawyers has connections with the FBI and he is working on getting someone assigned to the case. I was relieved when I was contacted directly by an FBI agent who is forwarding all information to his supervisor to get approval to open up a case and investigate. As I told the crooks over the phone, his days are numbered and one day when they go to a local money gram pick up store, the FBI will be waiting to arrest them! I plan to use all of my energy and resources to locate and arrest these indviduals for fraud.
