Linebarger, Goggan, Blair & Sampson LLP John Kelly Burnette, Partner License FL Bar Trying to collect $488 in bogus debt by using Public information Court records Jacksonville, Florida

Linebarger, Goggan, Blair & Sampson are lawyers using public information county records among other venues to trick citizens into sending money.  A scam among lawyers perhaps?  John Kelly Burnette is actually listed on the Florida Bar as an active attorney.  www.publicans.com is the  LLP website which also seems totally legit.  The only problem is that I know I don't owe the Duval County courts $488.95 just like all the other complaints noted that they don't but I could see how someone would think they might have not been told about said court costs or fines and went ahead and paid.  Shame on these people.  I'll be taking this to my lawyer tomorrow.

 After coming to this site and seeing almost 73 other reports of attempts to fraudulently collect money. I decided to post about the letter I received .  I will be sending copies of this to anyone and everyone I can think of that might be interested including the FBI. I believe that mail fraud is a federal offense also. I am wondering how many people fell victim to this scam?
