Massage Envy Debited bank account after cancellation Rowlett TX

I enterd in to a 12 month contract with Massage Envy. In Feb 2018, a few months after fulfilling my contracual obligation, I wasn't using their services and had even accrued approximately 12 hours of massage time, so I cancelled the monthly membership. In August 2018, they debited my bank account for 165.00. Their claim was that the lady who I contacted had not given them the cancellation. I located the cancellation snd hand delivered to the Rowlett, TX location. I was told that the money would be returned within 10 days. It has not happened. The puzzling part is that my bank card with Wells Fargo had expired and the number they had was not even valid; however, they some how located my new bank card number and debited the account.
