North Texas Tollway Authority Total Ripoff of unsuspecting motorist...Channel 8, please do an investigation!!! Dallas, Texas

NTTA Zip Cash invoices are purposely not combined!!  I'll tell you why..  You may think you've paid, but listen up grandmothers and unsuspecting tollway users who are funneled into the zip cameras lane with no other payment options....you may have another bill floating around out there with a $25 dollar PER TOLL penalty.  Unlike most utilities, when outstanding invoices are combined to reflect total amount due...NTTA system does not.    I sent the NTTA $8 dollars last week, but because of a separately generated 15 dollar invoice, i got a bill with $250 dollars worth of penalties.  What country is this considered reasonable?  Russia?  Where is a 2500% late fee a reasonable thing??  

When I called and complained about the massive administrative fee, and expressing my desire to donate that money to Charity or something instead of sending it to a government agency, and asked  "who do i call?", she said ..we cannot change the fee...call your congressman!  The girl i spoke to has obviously been well trained to deal with irate citizens with that calm.. cool "bring it on" dimeanor.  I really hate that... 

Somebody please do a report and expose this massive government fleece.   It's rediculous!!!  Even if they do reduce the fee.  It's still a total rip off to send that kind of an invoice, under penalty of citation from the DMV...
