I've also received the letter 'A vehicle registered under your name has passed through the following toll plazas. Please pay the amount shown.' I don't have a TollTag, and won't ever get one, and stop to pay the toll every time I have to use it.

This was for the toll entrance "Greenlawn Blvd Ent L02" in Round Rock.

When did they start double charging people that pay cash???

What's crazy is that I've heard that many of those are to remain PERMANENT toll roads (like several of the roads in Dallas). Now how the hell can you justify a permanent toll road? That's like requiring me to make payments on my car even after I've paid it off!

Toll Roads in general are a rip-off.

We heard about the NOrth Texas SCAM OPERATION down herein Austin,Texas where we have been fighting the expansion of the TOLL ROAD AUTHORITY STEALING PUBLIC ROADS BUILT WITH PUBLIC FUNDS!

how these damned crooks thought that theycould just bulldoze us and we would give up roads we paid for with OUR TAX DOLLARS shows how badly they are out of touch with real people.

And almost all of these CRIMINALS were Williamson County, Texas County judge and county commissioners and we had a state representative who sold us out name Kruzee and he was busted for DWI but, of course, he got off. Maybe next time, he will have a one-car accident while drunk and good riddance. he is another crook who made back room deals to try and steal our PUBLIC ROADS FOR PRIVATE GAIN! He at least had the common sense not to run again because we would have worked overtime to DEFEAT his crooked self.

What I heard on TV about the NORTH TEXAS SCAMMER TOLL ROADS IS THAT IF YOU GET CONFUSED ( AND I THINK THEY DESIGN THOSE ROADS THAT WAY ON PURPOSE SO YOU GET LOST AND GET ON THEM AND HAVE TO PAY $75 OR MORE EVEN IF YOU ONLY GO FROM EXIT TO EXIT!) AND YOU LEAVE THE TOLL ROAD, A CAMERA TAKES A PHOTO OF YOUR LICENSE PLATE AND IT IS THE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE WHO IS HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TOLL! AND THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO NOTIFY YOU BY MAIL THAT YOU OWE THEM MONEY AND SEND THE STATEMENT TO YOU AND YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO PAY IT. I HAVE HEARD THAT THEY ARE DELIBERATELY NOT NOTIFYING YOU BECAUSE IT IS MORE MONEY TO THEM AND MORE FUN TO HAVE THE COPS COME TO YOUR HOUSE AND ARREST YOU FOR NONPAYMENT.

THIS IS NOT RIGHT AND I AM HOPING THAT SOMEONE WILL SUE THEM AND MAKE THEM STOP PUTTING PEOPLE IN JAIL WITHOUT NOTIFYING THEM OF THE CHARGES AGAINST THEM AND GIVING THE OPPORTUNITY TO PAY.
