Went to them for regular Trans flush. Said Pennzoil book said must upgrade to synthetic (more expensive). Took 2 1/2 Hrs (mainly because tech was on cell phone most of time). Next day trans started whining noise. Took it back, tech spent hour looking through Service Notices online, said was sure it just needed to be flushed again but needed to check with Pennzoil rep. Assured me safe to drive. Promised would call next day, did not. After I call Mgr. & complained, tech called said need to re-flush. By this time Trans was no engaging on higher gears. Next day NTB re-flushed, no call back. Next day I called back, no improvement. Then Mgr. said outside trans expert said should not have used synthetic. Mgr. said would re-flush with regular fluid. Still no improvement, Mgr, said will contact his insurance, gave him copy of previous trans service recpt. Promised would call next day with update, never did. Insurance finally call said needed to send inspector to look at trans, would call back, did not. After numerous calls, voice mails, and broken promises to call back. Claim denied, said driving with wrong fluid, three flushes in a row & driving after whine started (on Tech recommendation) did not affect trans. Will cost, $$$ to fix trans plus an extra week and a half of rental car waiting for NTB & Insurance to return calls.
