Old Republic Home Protection ORHP Old Republic Home Warranty Refuses to Honor Contract San Ramon California

The company sent a tech of their chosing to my house to repair my hot tub. The tech collected a $60 servie fee up front and started to repair my hot tub after parts were received. The tech left during the repair claiming that additional parts were required and did not return to complete the job.

I placed numerous calls to the company to inquire when the johb would be completed. I was told that the tech informed the company that the hot tub could have never worked in the first place and that they were not going to continue to honor the coverage on my hot tub - in the middle of the repair.

I then attempted to cancel my obvoiusly worthless warranty coverage. At this point my 'coverage' had been in place for approx 6 weeks. I had paid $660 for coverage which included $160 specifically for the hot tub. I received a check back for $109.  The company claimed that I was charged for the cost of the claim ofr the hot tub that they were billed by the tech that they selected - even though the repair was never completed. 

I'm left with NO COVERAGE, a hot tub that is TORN APART on my patio and the frustration of dealing with this obvioulsy deceitful 'warranty?' company. 

This has been reported to the Better Business Bureau but so far - after over a month, the only responses received from the company, through the Better Business Bureau, have been canned responses by someone specifically assigned to respond to BBB complaints.
