I am currently working for prime. i came home for a bit because my trainer was turning in his truck i have been waiting 2 weeks to get picked up by another trainer. as far as the Cdl course goes it was all reading material and an i dont care attitude after you paid your 150 bucks. the big saying at the no tell motel that the school was held at had a get it right or get a bus ticket attitude. after that nightmare prime has been rather pleasant i have been on a truck for 11 weeks i think thats an obscene amount of training time but i guess they want to be sure you are trained if i cant get a ride soon i will looking for another driving oppurtunity with a different carrier

The "get it right or bus ticket" attitude is accurate. I attended the training program last fall and what a stressful time that was! Lots of disrespect towards trainees. Pardon me for being human!! I couldn't take it anymore after not being able to go home for over a month, so I jumped ship. There really is, no place like home! Truckers, you can have your sleepers!
