This is the second time I have had trouble getting a repair for my riding lawn mower. It take over two weeks to get a repairman to repair my lawn mower. This time I was told that the repairman carried part to repair lawn mower. The repairman is ordering the parts. I call sear repair to find out when they would be back. Casandra stated that the parts were orderd and they come to home in 3 to 5 days. I told I could order a part from Amazon it would get here next day.

Now I have to call back again to find out when the repairman will be able to come back.

Do not buy a Sears product due fact it takes over two weeks to get a repairman then another two weeks for repairman to come back.

Casandra said her manager was on conference call unable to come the phone. Did not try to see when repairman could come back.

Sears representative refuse to expedite repair.

Called Sears 1-800-659-7078 for help

I was on hold for 43 min. After explaining that I may riding lawn mower is still not repaired as of 2nd week of May 2015.

I will be given a $50 check for good will. I asked if I could exchage lawn mower and no clear answer. She stated that repairman would have declair lawn mower unrepairable. To get an exchange.

Before you buy  from Sear, remember  your warranty is delayed and delayed so you have a warranty  but you can't use it.

Sears extended warranty update

Sears repairman came on the July 13, 2015. The repair repaired my riding lawn mower. On July 20, 2015 I called Sears repair to advise them that my lawn mower would not start. I tried to charge the battery and my battery charger indicated the battery was fully charged. When try to start the lawn mower it only makes a clicking sound. Which seem to indicate a starter problem. The new date to for my next repair is Aug. the 18th. my lawn mower has been out since the first of June.

This time Sears representative gave me 1-800-659-7078 to inquire about a reinbustment.

Made new call for repair on July 20, 2015 and wait for repair untill Aug. 18th 2015

I will have to wait another month for repair to come and wait another week for parts and wait again for month for repairman.

My complaint is the time it takes to get appointment nearly a month each time I call.

So I have a warranty however its take 2 months to get lawn mower repaired. This is standard that Sears provideds.

Sears extended warranty update

I called in today 6-23-2015 spoke with Michael and Joe a supervisor. Michael advised me that my next appointment will be July 15 2015. I asked to speak with a supervisor. Supervisor Joe informed me that I needed to wait for part to get here then sears will see if appointment can be moved up.

Sears sells a extented warranty knowing that appointments are delayed for over 2 weeks 3 days for first appointment and delayed again from June 22  2015  until July 15 2015. This is Sears extented warranty.
