securitas usa very unsafe place to work who does not care about there employees at all spokane, Washington

id have to say one of the biggest jokes in the work as far as a security company goes. it was my first day and it was a big 50-70 acre property that had been getting broke into over the past few weeks it was an old mill and this place was creepy, real Texas chainsaw s**t . i was given a spot light and a cell phone. my job was to drive around in my own vehicle corner to corner sit there for and hour of two just spotlighting and if i see anything call the police. fine and dandy. however it was also about 10 degrees that night and me sitting in my truck running the heater all night as far as i was concerned was not an option it could of cost me over half of my nights wages just to try and stay warm. i had an old beat up double wide that i can go warn up in but the never wanted us to be in there that long. i had people poking around that site all night and it wouldn't of been anything for 2 or 3 crack heads to wack me over the head and steal what ever they wanted the didn't even want you to carry pepper spray a pocket knife anything for there insurance reasons im guessing basically saying dont protect your self if people try and mess with you. however i did call the cops that night and you wanna know what i was told that the police were very formiliar with this site so it wasent on there list of things to worry about they never showed up (i love the service my tax dollars provide) so i basicly didnt even have a cell phone to call and get help with.  the next night i was there same thing but this time i would drive to the cornners every hour on the our and try and save gas and stay warm in the old trailer. later on i had a supervisor call me and ask were i was i told him i was in the trailer warming up. he didnt like that very much i told him i wanst comfortable going around this place alone all night unarmed when the cops dont even show up. he then went on to tell me how to was a big time karate teacher and his former miltaty skills made him a tiger as he put it and any one that wanted to mess with him would have a tiger by the tail so  he didnt know what my problem is. the 10 buck an hour i was paid there over half of that was for driving around there site and running my pick up to stay warm. if you need a job that bad start recycling cans its safer better people and no one will ask you to shiver for 12 hours by yourself . long story short DONT WORK FOR SECURITAS. you are better than that.
