I just wanted to say that this company is not a good idea to go through. I recently bought a car stereo and when i got it installed it didn't work properly. So i un-installed it and took it to a registered alpine dealer and sonicelectronix filed the serial number off the player. Then when i tried to contact the company they did not answer the phone. The only answer the phone 12-3 eastern time, which is a little ridiculous.

I would not recomend this site to anyone because it has been nothing but trouble. Hope i helped you from making a BIG mistake.

The rebuttal that Sonic Electronix sent is crap. I returned the radio and they never even sent it back and didn't even refund my money. I am in the process of talking to a lawyer because I don't see how this is legal. Also i don't see why you would have to shave of the serial number if it was legal. If the company (alpine) was getting paid what does it matter if they could track it. I think this is the most shady company that i have ever dealt with. i would feel safer buying a product of the side of the road which is actually what i think i did anyways. My goal is to let everyone know that this company is NOT legit. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Products are not backed by factory warrenty because they are not purched though factory!!!

You will not get a refund for anything! Factory serial numbers are removed at Sonic Electronix so they cant be tracked. Since they cant be tracked the factory will NOT warrently them. This is why they are cheaper than other stores.

Call and ask if you dont believe me. You are playing russian roulet when you buy stuff from them!

If a customer faces an issue with a product, the customer must come to Sonic Electronix first for assistance.
Each product is warranted unless stated otherwise on the description. Standard warranty can be offered through manufacturer or the Company. On each case the specifications will be clearly provided on the item's description page. Steps and procedures are consumer's friendly and understandable to everyone.

Each product is BRAND NEW and SEALED in the manufacturer's Box unless stated otherwise on the Description.

Though products have never been used or open, Sonic Electronix never will find out if they are non-working unless customer complains. The manufacturer's productivity occurs in series, supplying the greater demand but sacrificing quality sometimes. Even if the Brand has a great reputation, the manufacturing of thousands allows a percentage in defective items.

Sonic Electronix Site does not offer Manufacturer's Warranty on any Alpine Product, however, it does offer Warranty through the Company and even extended for head units through Warrantech.

"Sonic Electronix warrants merchandise covered under the Standard Sonic Electronix Warranty for Electronics Policy to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1-year from the original invoice shipping date. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. An item returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at Sonic Electronix's discretion, unless otherwise required by law. Merchandise covered under the Standard Sonic Electronix Warranty for Electronics Policy may be returned a) within 30 days of the original invoice shipping date for a refund, or b) within one year of the original invoice shipping date for a replacement of the same item. If the same item is not available and a repair cannot be completed, SonicElectronix.com reserves the right to replace the item with a similar or like model or issue store credit at the current selling price not to exceed the original purchase price."
