While claiming to give the best rate for Workman’s Comp insurance, Hartford and QuickBooks have devised a way to get you sign up to a “Pay As You Go” feature then to automatically withdraw funds from your checking account without justifying why and how much they can charge your company. After spending considerable time researching and getting quotes in writing from the Hartford Company they withdrew triple the amount that they quoted from our checking account and then claimed it was all a mistake. After admitting to at least three mistakes on their part they guaranteed a substantial refund that turned out to be peanuts.
Peter, I have recalculated the premium, and the refund will be 471.76 based on the return of payroll collected for you and payroll collected incorrectly due to misclassification on Allison. I cannot tell what the next withdrawal will be, because we have not received payroll since 11.18, which was already collected on. Thanks! Hi Jenn Can you please tell me what the amount of the refund check is going to be, and based on the last payroll run we did what will be the amount Hartford will withdraw from our account on the next payroll run. This is important to know very soon because
we have to decide if we are going continue with Hartford or switch back to original insurer.
Hi Peter, Per our conversation, I have excluded you from coverage and premium. I have stopped the draw for $379.32 for today, and will recalculate the premium on the other draws. Thanks! Jennifer L. Vozzo
