Tiger Direct - OnRebate Rebate Ripoff scam File everything exactly as requested they never send the payment Miami Florida

I purchased an HP laptop which offered a $150 rebate. I filed all of the paperwork exactly as described in the offer. It was accepted by the rebate processor: onrebate.com. The offer said 8 to 10 weeks for processing.
It's been nearly five months and no check; the web site status always states "payment pending". I've called, sent emails to both Tiger Direct and OnRebate, if I get any reply, it's "the payment is pending"
It appears the rebate offer is a scam and they have no intention of honoring their obligation.

I finally received the two checks from June. I deposited them yesterday.. I read other reports where people had received checks and they bounced. Keeping my fingers crossed. Will update if I run into any more problems.

you can visit the attorney generals website -myfloridalegal and file a complaint online. It takes about 5 minutes and I did it. I encourage EVERYONE that is getting pushed around by this "rebate" company to do the same.
