Purchased my Toshiba Satallite on Mar 2,08. Within the first week had problems but the tech at Circuit City, North Attleboro, MA where I purchased it said to give it time it may be just something that will pass. Within the next few days I had it back and completely re-programmed and lost everything I had in it.

Said they could not replace it because it was after the alloted ten days when I had problems within the first week. Have written letters to Toshiba and talked to reps on the phone without satisfaction. Just called again and they said they will send a box out and I can return it to them and will take two weeks. Terrific!!

Problems now: screen goes "foggy", machine then beeps internally, screen turns black and then shuts itself off. Have noticed recently that the touch pad and the area to its left was very hot when it did this recently.

Other things like when scrolling with the finger pad the windows jump from size to size and sometimes dissapear,

I have never bought anything with so many problems with no satisfaction., This is short, a "piece of junk" that should have been replaced by Toshiba months ago. Have never received an answer to my letters.
