United Health Care...Won't Pay The Bills They Are Supposed To!!! Won't pay the bills, even after deductables are met, and they send letters verifying they will pay the bills after auto ins. paid out their total!!! Jacksonville Florida

I was in a car accident back in December of 2007. My car insurance paid the $10,000 towards my medical like I pay for in my policy. United Health Care sent a letter to me stating that they cover what the car insurance does not cover. Once my car insurance has paid the total they cover, my health insurance will pick up the rest of the bill. Needless to say...they have paid very LITTLE!!!

Every time I call or my physician calls they respond with a letter that says, that all information has not been provided and they will not cover the bills. This is BS! My doctors office has sent NUMEROUS PACKETS (HUGE PACKETS!!!!) to them with everything, including copies of the payments they received from my car insurance company. I have 99% of the information that was sent to me by both companies.

United Health Care is using a Stall-tactic to try to get out of paying my medical bills. I paid over $5000 a year for this coverage, on top of all my co-pays and anything they decide not to cover. This company is a joke, and I wish they would just pay the bills and quit trying their Stall-Tactics! I have tried to call them Numerous times, only to be transferred to different people and then being told they will "Re-Submit" the bills to be processed. Now they are leaving me with a bill that is supposed to be covered by THEM!

I am not sure what to do about this, and they know...little person, not going to be able to take on a big insurance company...well, I am planning on calling them DAILY till they do what they are legally obligated to do, and that is pay the bills!
