US Auto Management rippoff's and steals cars Dallas Texas

Back in November of 2002 I enrolled in the US Auto Management sub lease program (Website: The car was a Black Nissan Altima 1998 that my stepson was using at that point. From November 2002 until April I received payments ($312.40) consistently on time. Starting in May 2003 and from that point on until present, I haven't received any more payments for the Nissan. According to the contract that I signed with US Auto Management they were supposed to provide me with the payment in case that the user of the car didn't. I started contacting Kyle Nagle in the Dallas office with no luck. I left him Voice Mails, sent him faxes and drive for weeks to his office. In one of my trips to his office, I discovered that he had a sign up saying that the office had been closed. I tried contacting the Headquarters Office for US Auto Management several times after this via Fax, Voice Mails and Emails. At no point they were responsive or polite about their responses to me. They kept telling me that the local office in Dallas had to take care of the issue. I kept contacting the HQ office again and again getting the same negative response and mistreatment.

While all of this was going on, the car payments were not been made and I was getting phone calls and letters from TranSouth Financial, lender of the car. I had no knowledge of where the car was or help from US Auto Management in trying to find where Kyle or the car was. After several months of my endless hunt, I got a phone call from TranSouth's collection department. I contacted Manuel Delgado (1800-261-0172 ext. 53701, Fax 1888-879-2698) at the TranSouth office on July 8th after he left me a VM. Sent him an 8 page fax on July 9th with most of the information related to the US Auto Management contract and contact information (see below):

He informed me that he was going to pass this info to his supervisor, Shane at TranSouth. Shane called me on July 30th. I contacted Shane (1800-981-9654 ext. 42310) and we were able to talk once about my issue. I left him a VM on August 19th after missing each other several times. After talking to Shane a couple of times, I spoke to a guy named John (469-853-1695) during the week of October the 9th. John was the repo man that Transouth subcontracted to get the Nissan back. I didn't hear back from him after I provided all of the same contact information to him. I explained to John that I didn't know where the car was and that I would let him know if I heard anything about it.

At the same time this was going on, I filed a complaint with the BBB (BBB complaint number: 1078836. Filed on 6/03/2003.). The complaint was closed by the BBB with a negative answer form TranSouth. TranSouth told the BBB that they had nothing to do with this issue and that they couldn't help me.

The week of October 20th, 2003, I was contacted by Investigator Hinkley with the Dallas Constable Office. She informed me that there was a lawsuit that TranSouth had started against me. The lawsuit was basically accusing me of not paying and knowingly holding property (Nissan Altima) back from the lender when they tried to repossess the car. Investigator Hinckley and I spend several days talking on the phone. She was the only person throughout this whole process that has actually spend time listening and trying to understand what the problem was. I faxed her all of the documentation and she started investigating the case. What she found out was basically that US Auto Management was running a fraud operation and that I wasn't at fault for what had happened. She closed the case and told TranSouth that there was no solid evidence for a lawsuit against me.
In the month of December 2003, I got contacted from a local Dallas car pound via registered letter informing me that they had the Nissan Altima. I immediately contacted Investigator Hinckley, TranSouth and John (repo man). The car finally got back to TranSouth. The week of January 19th, I received a letter from TranSouth informing me that I needed to pay $10,448.35 to them for deficiency of the account. I am currently trying to explain to them my situation to see if they can freeze the account until a lawsuit gets initiated against US Auto Management for the Dallas office. I am in the process of filling out a Civil Suit paperwork with the Dallas Court system in order to get US Auto Management to pay for this amount that TranSouth is asking for, as well for any interest that this account may accrue in the process.

Now, in October of 2005 I am still getting calls from the lender and apprently they are in the process of getting a court case against me for the left over amount. I still have not heard any thing back from the complaints I have entered in the different goverment agencies and have received no help.....

I know what you have gone through. I am still going through creditors trying to collect on a vehicle that got repoed because of US Auto Management. I was not notified of anything that happened. I came to work and the doors were locked because the locks were changed. The reason is the company had stopped paying the rent for the suite and any other bills that they owed including the cell phone. I made numerous calls to the owner and the company and NEVER received any response. I was also a victim to their business practice and I was an employee and got ripped off. So...I did not rip you off. I just worked there and had one of my vehicles in their program and I lost it because of US Auto Management.
