We to have fallen prey to Vanderbilt's lovely ways of handling business. August of 2005 we called to ask for a payment deferment because my husband and I both had unexpected surgeries come up in that same month.

Remind you that we were never late on payments. We were informed by the lady that we were talking to as she laughed at us "that would take an act of god to do that, and then it still is not happening".

Thats when the lovely phone calls of threats and disrespectful phone calls started coming in. We continued to still make payments just a week late. The lovely Jimmy started with the calls of asking where our payment was and that my husband was a liar that he wasn't trying to work over time so that we wouldn't be a week late every month.

He told us he was going to take our home from us. Now I remind you that we have had this home since 2000 never been late until the surgeries me and my husband had came about. But to talk to Jimmy you would think we were some kind of low life trash who did not pay our bills on time since we had the loan.

When we got this home we would be able to refinance it a few years after we got it. Well we are finding out no one once to touch our home even if it is on land and on a foundation. Plus that vanderbilt has it where no other loan companies will refinance their loans.

Also, we have requested time after time payment books for our mortgage haven't seen one since we got the the first book when we purchased the house. So I pay the extra money to western Union the payment so I have proof that I made the payments.

So for those fellow people who have to be held under this so called company I feel your sorrow too. I wish you luck and maybe we will eventually hang this company up by it's toes for it's ways of conducting itself in a unbusiness manner.

VANDERBILT

AUTHOR: Beth - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, April 06, 2006

I feel for you, my husband and I fell into some financial difficulty. I have owned my home for 8 years. They treat me like trash when I call them, I used to take it but now I give it right back. I filed a complaint in with the Insurance Division St. of Tennessee and they told them it was best if "they dealt with me by letter not by phone any longer" trust me I went off on them. I also asked for a deferrment, I was told it wouldn't matter because I would be in the same boat the following month. Then they told me to get a payday loan! HA HA HA. I asked her if she was willing to pay the 600% that I would be charged against a payday advance, I was told to borrow it, to let all my other debts go. They are TERRIBLE. Something needs to be done but where to we go...
