They try to succer you over the phone thinking you are getting this package plan where you save so much but when you get your bill the amts that were stated to you on the phone & then the amts on your actual bill are higher that what was quoted to you.

My dad had that happen to him, my mom & now myself. They have this plan where u pay a flate rate of $50.00 a month & you are suppose to be able to have unlimited minutes & you can call anywhere city in california but nope.. They charge you $50.00 yeah but if you review all the numbers dialed from your phone & look @ the amt being charged.. they charge 5-10 cents PER MINUTE on top of that!

they charge more on your DSL than what was stated. they will tell you that they are having a special or whatever but you get charged more than what was stated. They know what they are doing coz they credit me the times I did call & complain! I believe everyones a target coz many people dont review the whole bill but you should! they are hoping that you wont catch what they did!

What plans did you get?

AUTHOR: Magic - (U.S.A.)

I think there might be some misunderstanding here. What plans did you get? Also, when you sign up for ANY service, whether it be wireless, landline phone, satelite, or cable, they may quote you one price, but that is most times WITHOUT taxes.

I would see what plans you actually signed up for at the beginning. If you got just 1 wireless phone, then their plans start at $39.99. If you have some type of family plan, then they start at $50.00 for the first phone, $9.99 per add'l phone and all of them share minutes. Best thing is to check your contract. If you're on the new "InPulse" plan they have, it's a prepaid service, so there is no contract. When you use up your minutes, you can't use your phone anymore. That plan is different than all the others.

As for the DSL, I have no idea what they charge. You might be better off going through your local cable company for high speed internet. DSL is usually slower than cable, and not always cheaper than cable. DSL ususally comes standard at 1.5mbits/sec which = around 187.5kb/sec max. Cable is usually around 3mbits to 5mbits/sec max, which = around 375kb/sec to 625kb/sec max.
