I came across an auction website while browsing the web in early August, 2012. The site's web address is ZBiddy.com, On their main page, that is, the page you first land on when you click on the "official link" for ZBiddy, com, shows auctions that are supposedly "Live", amongst these auction which are "just about to end" (so, HURRY and sign up QUICKLY- before they are gone!) are a "55 inch Bravia HDTV, a Play Station 3 Gaming System, and an XBox 360 + Kinect. In my excitement, and with the hope of winning something nice for the family for a great price in these Hard Economic times, I fell for this now-obvious bait & switch without doing more investigation before bidding on, and "Winning" a "300 bids" package for $17.86, (selling for almost $200.00 on the site, if you just wish to purchase a bid package without bidding on one-BTW: bid packages are free to bid on, you just pay whatever the ending bid is, if you are the "Lucky Winner".

I payed using my Visa card. I then went to search for these awesome autions, but instead found Magazine subscriptions (with shipping prices that exceeded the publishers subscription price). Under Gaming consoles, I found a "stand" to hold a Playstation, and some covers for GameBoy's, Oh W@W!.  They also have alot of gift cards, like a Target $50.oo gift card that they list with a value of $80.00!  (huh?) and some other cheap stuff, but no consoles. I kept checking back with the site, day after day,but could not find one single offering for an XBox 360 + Kinect (which is what I was most interested in).

Puzzled by this, I decided to investigate further, so I opened a new window in Internet explorer and went to their home page again and, You got it! There were the same high ticket items that I saw the first time I hit their home page,,,, the HDTV, The XBox 360 package....all Up & running with "bids" being placed. You can try this yourself, go to their website at www.zbiddy.com and scroll down to the "Live auctions". If you continue to watch these auctions (there are 8-10 of them), you'll see them "End" with the winning bids all being under $20.00 each! AMAZING!  After switching back to my other tab of their site, where I was "signed in", these auctions were again nowhere to be found! Not even in the "ended auctions"... Bottom Line: I spent $17.86 of my hard-earned money on a bogus website that claims to offer high-ticket items, for winning bids of pennies on the dollar. This website should be shut down immediately and a class-action lawsuit should be filed against them. I'm CERTAIN that I am not the first, nor will I be the last to file a complaint with both the BBB and this website, on this BS company ZBiddy! Deal seakers and auction fans BE-WARE!
