Lovesac Lovesac stole my money Costa Mesa California

DO NOT BUY FROM LOVESAC, they are scammers and I can prove it. My fiancé and I were shopping for high end sofas, we liked Lovesac, they seemed to look good and be comfortable. We purchased and were given a delivery date, like the other complaint about delivery DO NOT COUNT ON IT, they use Sub-Contractors so 5 months later we get a call from them "Were unable to ship to your location”, I said fine and that I’d call for a refund, we’re talking about $7000.00 of Sofas they’re very expensive.

We called and got the usual run around, they had to forward to Corporate and so on, months go by and still no refund so they have our money for almost a year at this point, finally I have my attorney call and he gets the same run around YOU DONT WANT TO GO THROUGH THIS, finally they tell him that they will refund it after we threaten them, my attorney makes it perfectly clear that the card used was a business account NO LONGER IN USE SO REFUND MUST BE BY CHECK, of course they don’t listen, this is over a year now they’ve had my money, they tell my attorney they’ve finally refunded it, but they refunded it to a Visa Debit Card THATS NO GOOD ANYMORE, SO THEY STILL HAVE MY MONEY, AND THEY KNOW IT, so when my attorney called they said they had refunded knowing dam well the refund never went through.

This company is a SCAM, just like the other person who got ripped off on shipping mine is similar, YOU DO NOT SELL SOMETHING UNLESS YOU KNOW YOU CAN SHIP IT! And who takes 5 month to ship anyways? Do you buy Sofas to wait 5 months for delivery, be told they can’t ship for no good reason then keep your money?? I’m going to write 100 complaints online this is pure fraud, advertise something for sell, take funds, then just keep the money, Classic definition of fraud and I’m not giving up I’m writing reviews until no one buys there so they don’t have to go through over a year head ache and theft, purchase date 11/03/2019! My attorney is also contacting the California Attorney General and filing a fraud complaint, this is open and shut fraud and theft.
