Extremely Disappointing Experience with Midas – Poor Repair and Customer Service

Our experience with Midas has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. My daughter brought her car in three separate times for an A/C issue, and not once was the problem properly resolved.

• Visit #1: The car was serviced for a freon refill. However, the A/C began leaking shortly after, indicating the underlying issue was never addressed.

• Visit #2: She returned the vehicle for the leak to be fixed. We were told the problem was resolved—yet once again, the A/C began leaking not long after she picked it up.

• Visit #3: When she brought the car back a third time, Midas wanted to charge her again, despite their repeated failure to properly fix the issue. We requested a warranty or guarantee before authorizing yet another repair attempt, which we felt was reasonable under the circumstances.

Shockingly, the manager, Abby, flat-out refused to proceed with the work unless we agreed to pay again, without any sort of assurance or accountability for their previous failed repairs. She was unhelpful, dismissive, and made no effort to improve the situation or stand behind the shop’s work.

We are now seeking a full refund for the repeated charges and inadequate service. This kind of customer service and lack of responsibility is unacceptable—especially from a brand like Midas that claims to stand by their work.
