I’m writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent experience at the above Midas location. I was misquoted, overcharged, and subjected to aggressive, misleading sales tactics by Robert Johnson and others at the shop.

Misquoted Price & Pricing Deception
I was initially quoted $2,000 for radiator-related repairs. Upon arrival, the total suddenly increased to $2,500. Robert later claimed I was always quoted $2,500 and that $2,000 was a “favor” — which is false. I have a recording proving this misrepresentation.

High-Pressure Sales Tactics
I originally requested only a pressure test and clearly stated I would return later if repairs were needed. However, I was pressured to act immediately, told “this is a bad leak,” and aggressively steered toward financing I never requested. This felt coercive and unprofessional.

Inflated Charges
The $2,500 breakdown is highly questionable:

• Pressure test: $89.99

• Radiator: ~$800

• Two hoses: ~$100 each

• Coolant flush: ~$250

That leaves a large portion as labor — which appears excessive and unjustified.

Refund Only After I Followed Up
A $200 labor refund was issued, but only after I contacted the store again. This was not proactively offered, raising concerns about systematic overcharging of customers.

Unprofessional Conduct
When I spoke with a manager (Jordan), he was dismissive and unwilling to address the issue meaningfully. I was offered a reinspection, but after this experience, I have no interest in returning.

Pattern of Complaints
Afterward, I read reviews showing this location has a history of similar complaints — inflated pricing, rude staff, and misleading communication. My experience was not an isolated incident, and I urge Midas to investigate this location thoroughly.
