Warning, do not do business with this unscrupulous company or the Finklestein’s they have ripped off literally hundreds of contractors who have worked for them. They folded a business 12 years ago after ruining their reputation by not paying their contractors and overcharging their customers. Then opened 1 Stop Maintenance and continued to do the same. When too many contractors pile up they just go bankrupt as they did in 2013 leaving literally a 1000 contractors owed. That’s how they support their lavish lifestyle. Their office isn’t even real but rather a virtual office or glamorized P.O. Box. Their business is run off laptops from their homes which address I have listed above. Their employees are treated like slaves and fired if they question why Brett and Danielle don’t pay their bills. Danielle is an attorney.

So they prey on foreign contractors and exploit their lack of knowledge of the law and blue-collar Americans who don’t know better. Brett threatens legal action and slander suits using his sister as the hammer since she’s a lawyer. They try to intimidate and scare contractors into rolling over and giving up on collecting. Only the smart ones who report them to their customers have a hope of seeing a check. Their image is so horrible they had to hire a company named Four Elbows to clean up their internet image. Brett even started contacting a few of the complaints and on the internet claims to want to pay but who knows if he ever does.

He even wrote a CEO letter alleging that it’s his competitors slandering him and only a few contractors’ complaints are legit. Lmfao! There are 7 complaints on better business, 20 on yelp and another 40 or so on google pissed off consumer rip-off report and several others. Literally almost a hundred contractors not paid and even a few former employees stating the same. All the stories match and so does my experience with them. They have several complaints with the NY attorney general’s office currently.  Do not do business with these scum. Whether you are thinking of working for them or thinking of hiring them, do your due diligence first.
