800 New Look has ripped off good customers! Be aware: they are racialists! Farmington Hills, Michigan

We disagree with the characterization of this report. When we removed the awnings of this rental property in order to repair the siding, they literally crumbled.  There was no way they could have been salvaged and at no time did this customer “warn and protest” before we started the job. 

This individual never paid the balance of what was owed on the project, which is why we never had the opportunity to finally clean up the workplace.  While we agree that there were angry words exchanged by both parties at one point, the fact that the Better Business Bureau (where we have an A- rating) and ServiceMagic agreed with our position is an indication of the true nature of this complaint. 

2 months ago, I had the roof and siding of my house replaced by 800 New Look. Out of 3 extimates, I chose them, because their price seemed to be right and their salesperson appeared to be a nice man. Unfortunately, that was a big mistake! 800 New Look installed a few roof vents, but did not cut holes under the caps. They destroyed all 4 awnings of the house, against my repeated warnings and protests. They said "your awnings are too old. They are garbage." But these awnings had nothing wrong before they took them off. The awnings were made of best quality alumminum and had been protecting my front and back porches and windows for many years. I told them I must keep the awnings, but they turned them into pieces, left a big pile in my back yard. Without the awnings, every window in my house look too bright. Rain can sip into the foundation by the walls. When I complained to the owner, his name is Kurt Price, and asked him to restore the awnings, he became mad and shouted "foreign b*****d" at me! I have tried to resolve the problem through BBB and ServiceMagic.com, but could not get any good result from them. They have left with my money, leaving the pile of garbage lying in my backyard. It seems to me that this company do not care about their reputation. They just want to rip you off, then disappear with your money!
