AAA ENGINES Saved money at first and the paid enough to buy a new motor Laytonville California

 Purchased a remanufactured motor for a 2005 f150.. Ran the first 500 miles fine. After the oil change. The motor started missing and running rough. Changed 1 cam phaser that they sent me. Wasn't made by ford. Was made in china. After 6 months same issue. was told to run 20/50 oil??? This will help smooth things out.. still ran rough at idle. My Mechanic said cam phasers locked up chains and tensioners stretched. Josh at AAA. Sent two used cam phasers. Said the chains and tensioners were fine. We put in the parts. 5 miles down the road same issue. We will now be putting in two new ford phasers. AAA isn't covering these parts. The warranty is for two years.. that AAA sends out old used parts.. I wish i would have read the reviews on this site before. If you need a motor. Look at new ones. Going with a remanufactured with this company will cost you more.
