Advanced Business Services Fraudulent charges of 49.95 a month Palm Harbor Florida

I actually work for a restaurant as a waitress and I'm just barely out of school. One day I'm at work and I answer the telephone and there is someone on the line saying that they are with Advanced Business Services. I tell them that there is currently not a manager or business owner available to take their call. They tell me that they only have a few basic questions and ask if I will answer them. I tell them I will be happy to and ask them what they are for. The person on the phone tells me that it's so they can mail a flier to the business advertising their services. I tell them okay, and tell them that that is fine so long as I'm not agreeing to any services or fees, because...I'm only a waitress and I have no authority to accept to or agree to anything. They just asked me to confirm our address and telephone number and the call representative asked what my name was and said that it was for recording purposes (bc the phone conversation was recorded).

So then, a few days ago there's a letter in the mail that is addressed to my name and my boss is like WTF?! So he calls me over and we look at it. Advanced Business Services had sent me or the business this card, under my name stating that it would be charging me/us 49.95 a month for it's services unless I/we called to cancel.

I called the number and told them the situation. They told me that they couldn't cancel the account because I wasn't the business owner. I explained that the account had been wrongfully created under my name. They continued to ask for my employers information and I explained to them several times that I did not feel comfortable giving them information. I asked them how they could make charges under my name knowing that I was not the business owner and why, if my name was on the account, that I couldn't cancel it. They explained that the account was actually under my employer...but then when I asked how they could have an account with my employer if they didn't even know his name, they couldn't give me an answer.

Despite my original phone conversation being recorded (and according to them, being "on file"). They did nothing to resolve the situation. In fact, not a single one of the people I talked to on the phone seemed suprised or disturbed by this AT ALL. The manager I was talking to was basically bullying me into giving them more information by threatening to charge ME and stated that unless I give them the information that they would continue to keep charging ME.

Although the letter they sent me shows their address as being a P.O. Box in Palm Harbor Florida, their website provides the address of

This is just REALLY BAD and this company shouldn't be doing this to people. I really hope that my employer files a claim through the Better Business Bureau.
