I received a collection notice for $1150.38 for a disconnected land-line phone in Amityville, NY that was disconnected on 1/11/2008. I have never lived in NY and Verizon has no account listed for the supposed charges. To make things more interesting, that particular number is not disconnected. Upon calling AFNI, collections they are unable to handle/process my call and never seem to be able to as they have a high call volume.
