I am an ex-employee of AIU and although I think management there is horrible and they have no business sense and they treat the Advisors like garbage I have to defend he school here. AIU is a good SCHOOL-- Not a good place to work. BIG DIFFERENCE. Also Mr UOP employee-- NO ONE can even SEE a students password since 7/2007 so again you are FULL OF IT!!!!

I think the Rip-Off Report could be a great outlet if there was some sort of screening process but it's plain to see that anyone can come on from a competitor and slabder them. I'm not just talking AIU either. UOP, AIU, Kaplan, Capella are all good SCHOOLS but they all have made poor BUSINESS decisions. Maybe everyone can just get along.

This claim is so far outside the realm of possibility when read over several more times. I posted earlier on this and still wonder why anyone would even remotely agree with this posting in any fashion. If indeed fraud was involved as alleged, a federal investigation would have insued. I value the Rip-Off Report but they should do a much better job of filtering out pure speculation and unsubstantiated allegations that not only harm comapanies but also the consumers. This seems counter productive to the mission of the Rip-Off Report to help consumers make informed decisions. Some good organizations such as AIU, CTU, UOP, Strayer, Capella, etc. are having their reputations ruined by disgruntled employees and students that are making false claims.

I would suggest a better job of researching claims such as accreditation which can be verified quite easily. Additionally, some sort of proof should be required for the outlandish allegations some post on here.

It's a shame that you had to be a witness to such unethical practices. This is definitely something I would've reported to the appropriate authorities. Not just my manager, but their manager, human resources, possibly a letter to the CEO, and cybercrime.gov. This is a serious offense and hopefully whoever is responsible for such a heinous act is fired.

First, the allegations that you are making are criminal and if you truly had that inside scoop, you would be talking to federal investigators, not the Rip-Off report. I guess next, you will have inside scoop on who really killed JFK or have proof that Big Foot exists. Yea, I'm making light of this conspiracy theory because as a new student of AIU in their Master's program, this isn't possible in the way you explain it. Moreover, AIU is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools with their next reaffirmation in 2012. Lastly, I e-sign documents as well from my machine and there are many more precautions in place than you allege. I was one teetering on the fence before going with AIU or Capella. I'm glad I chose AIU, my admissions counselor never treated me like a quota. Additionally, the curriculum is first rate; it is challenging and fast paced but manageable. I can refer back to my under graduate and some graduate work at traditional universities and without question, the quality of the coursework at AIU is on par or better than many that I've attended.

This allegation sounds like sour grapes from an ex-employee or someone looking for attention by making false claims against a very reputable school. It is shameful and a disservice to the past, current and future students who attend online universities. Working professionals use this medium to finish their degrees in order to further their professional development. AIU and other online universities offer every bit as good an education as brick and mortar schools. In some case even better because they are on the cutting edge of the latest trends in business and education. In fact AIU has been ranked in the top ten online universities by the Military and Business community for several years. Moreover, they just received an award from the Better Business Bureau for their efforts.

Think twice before posting false allegations. If you had real information, you wouldn't be posting anonymous behind a keyboard to Rip-Off report, you would be talking to federal agents.

As far as "all things you read here being true": Well as a student that just finished his first graduate class at AIU, I can tell you without any reservations that this is FALSE. Far too many real students and employees have posted here rebutting the feeble attempts of some to tarnish the reputation of hard working professionals trying to complete their education. My advice is to find a real scam and complain about that. I'm getting a quality education by a top ten online university that is accredited regionally and nationally. These standards are much higher than the vetting process of an anonymous allegation on the internet.
