American InterContinental University AIU ONLINE SCHOOL I am a disabled veteran that applied this school but really didn't do a lot of research like I should have because AIU has very low ratings with FASFA and many online organizations, in general very poor.  Chicago ILLINOIS

I am a disabled veteran that applied this school but really didn't do a lot of research like I should have because AIU has very low ratings with FASFA and many online organizations, in general very poor.  I went to further my degree in Business Management and marketing I was doing good and had a major death in the family that took a toll  on our family pretty much the whole year and was still continuing with my classes to try to get my mind off things and do something positive. The holidays came and things got a little difficult everything kind of fell apart for my family and kind of hit us hard what had really happened lodging my Dad and so now I'm caring for myself, my children, my mother and this was my father that passed so is was very hard, he was a huge part of our family and being his caretakers made it extra hard on us.  My grades around the holidays started to really suffer, very hard to concentrate and continue strongly so I guess and was put on probation and already finishing classes up to January 8th then classes started again January 11th and I was told that I can continue in class until the overlooked my rebuttal letter in regards to probation so I can continue to stay in school they absolutely allowed me to stay in class the entire month of January but when I they didn't like my letter they asked me to revise it

I guess they wanted me to make it look more Sensational, more hollywood, I have no idea what they were looking for but I told them that was the truth that's what was going on in my family this is why my grades suffer and there's nothing else to tell or revise so they denied my letter which was very heartless and strange and I told them and wrote to them how insulted I was that they didn't accept the truth, my heart feel real letter in regards to what was going on with me and why my grades suffered. Well they withdrew me and as a result the VA  sent me a bill for over $700 for housing and books for January that I earned because I was in class all of January until they decided to withdraw me.  I wanted to continue and have a second chance but they did not give that to me so I have been calling the school over and over again explaining to them that they need to tell the VA the truth and that I was in class all of January while they were reviewing the letter already finishing classes up to January 8th then was allowed to continue with classes January 11 and beyond, so I would not have to have this bill that I don't deserve and even if I start school somewhere else the VA will snatch this money before giving me more. AIU also show a bill over $800  that should have been paid by the VA because I receive a 100% tuition from the VA for my 14 year service in the Air Force and Army. This is a school I would never recommend, not even to my enemy.
