Approximately 6 years ago I was interested in doing online schooling at home,I then inquired and signed up, a woman that I spoke to said they would be sending a book for the classes which I never received, I contacted the school because my financial situation had changed (my son who shared the apartment with me was being deployed to Iraq) I contacted the school to tell them of my situation that I had to obtain more hours to afford to stay in this apartment. About 1 year later they contacted me from the school telling me I had to pay or they would take me to court instead they attached my Federal taxes for the past 3 yrs ( approximately $3000.00) I spoke to a woman twice and a man once and all 3 times they said we are going to keep taking your money and they were very abrupt and rude about it.  I am afraid to file this year because they will take that too, I have no books, classes, teachers or grades. My taxes would make it easier to pay off other important bills and maybe buy some food or treat myself to some new clothes instead of wearing rags, I see it this way I must be paying someone elses tuition. I also called several lawyers in this area they want a $1500.00 retainer to do this case which I cannot afford! There must be a way to stop them from taking my money!!!!!
