STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNIVERSITY!!!!! BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!!



I am currently a student here at AIU London thinking of leaving the "university" without paying for my last payment instalment. I started university in October and it is now February, and i haven't learned one single thing. In all honesty not one single thing. When i first came here i was sold dreams of a better education. I spoke to the head of Business and he assured me what a wonderful university this was, the teaching techniques here are unlike any other university, theres one to one tutor student interaction, because it is such a small building. WRONG!!! I came to this university in hopes of getting taught about Business instead i am being taught about how to quote magazines and histroy. This is not what i am paying 9,000 for. DISGUSTING!!!!



The teachers here are uneducated. Most of them do not even hold a teaching degree, they only possess work experience, a few of them are still in university themselves. I only have university 2 days a week. I have 2 two hour lessons. That's not even a full time education. What can you learn in 2 hours?



Recently i had problems with keeping up with my payment, the university was awear of it, yet they still removed me from my classes. They were kept up to date and had confirmation of my next payment instalment yet they still removed me from my classes and gave me humanities and science classes instead. I had to go to the Dean of Business to get this matter sorted AFTER 2 WEEKS i was finally allowed back in my normal classes.



NO ONE is helpful here, they only want your money and don't care about the education that you receive. I WAS JUST THROWN OUT OF MY ENGLISH CLASS because i did not posses A4 paper. I had paper to write in, but it wasn't A4 and i was told, and i quote word for word "Get out and buy some, get out of my class" by an american teacher Jana, whos suppose to be the head of english or something. So i am missing out on my class right now because i did not posses A4 paper. Are you for real??? What i write on sure it should not matter.



Other teachers don't even give you time to talk in class or enough time to process what they are saying. They go from point A to C then B. Math class is the worst. They have had 23 complaints from students because the "teacher" just simply can not teach and yet he is teaching away, getting students money and having them fail. I finally conviced them to let me do maths online, only to find that the math teacher isn't any better. I recently had a problem with my math work, he jsut sent me the answer sheet without the question sheet, when i email him about this i got a response back to contact reception in america. I am in London!!!! Why would i contact reception for a math problem??



On top of our 9 grand, we have to buy 80 books that we do not use. Not once have i nor fellow students in my classes opend up any of our 3 books that we were told to buy. What we are taught isn't in the books. We were just taught to buy them them because they are either published by one of the teachers here or because they are required to tell students about them by the student board or something.



THIS IS THE MOST DEGUSTING UNIVERSITY I HAVE EVER HEARD OFF. I left a perfectly good university to come here because i was sold lies of future career development. The only people that come here are rich kids who don't know what to do with their parents money and don't mind forking out money on an education that they're not getting because they have something else to fall back on.



Currently there are 53 students that i have spoken to that are leaving this university. This university only wants your money without any thought to your education. Talking to teachers is nearly impossible, and nothing gets resolved.  DO NOT ENROL AT AIU!!!! I am thinking of living the university without paying the 3,000 that i have left. Is it wrong?
