Aldo shoes Horrible customer service, embarrassed us in front of the whole store Sherman oaks, California

We have been Aldo customers for a long time and purchased many different shoes over the last three years both online and in the store. I bought my wife a pair of shoes about a week ago, the shoes were uncomfortable for her and she wanted to return the shoes. We went to the store to return them and they called the manager to do the return and the manager told her that the shoes have been worn and told her and front of everybody that you can't wear shoes and return them after she wore them because they don't accept shoes that have been worn for. We told her numerous times that we got the shoes in the exact same condition and that somebody must have worn them before and returned them or tried them out at the store. She denied our request unpolitely and told us that we can exchange it for any other item.I asked her why can we exchange it for any other item and Not just get a refund since she can't wear these shoes and there's not anything else in the store that she wants. then in front of all the customers in our store she asked one of the other sales associates if she thinks it was it is dirty and if she thinks it can be returned. It was very humiliating since this was only item that we Ever wanted to return. Then finally we found another pair of shoes that was on display that was just as dirty as the one that we returned and I asked her how come this shoe is dirty. She thenncompared both shoes one next to The other and decided that she will give us a refund, after I told her I'm going to file a complaint on ripoff report and better business bureau.com because humiliating customer and only after I told her that we will never buy anything again In aldo
