Ameritel ripoff Class Action through Rip-off Report? Hot Springs Arkansas

They need to be stopped, going from state to state ripping people off, now they how gotten as far as Lawton, OK selling there scam.

I was called on 30 November 2002 and was offered a better phone deal than I had already had. Service was to start on the 3 Dec 02, So I took it $48.00 a month with, get this a load of features 11 to be exact and with this plan was 30 minutes free long distance. Guess what I never receive 30 minutes long distance and nor did I get 11 so called features. On the 9 December 02 my husband picked up the mail and bingo, a bill from Ameritel. Guess what we were already late in payment. Here is whats on the Bill "Payment must be reached by the 3rd to avoid suspension. A $20.00 reconnect fee will apply within 10 days of suspension. If payment is made or received after the due dat a $10.00 late fee will apply. Guess what I met all the catogories. Second, I tried to call them and guess what its seems like someone home answering maching. I tried and tried no answer. I called again in the morning, no answer. It says leave a message and someone will call you back. No one never called me back. And what I'm hearing from this community which is partly military they better in-fact, beware of there scam. I believe they came to the wrong town. People here are aready going back to there original phone service and guess what, a lot of us must pay to get back reconnected. People here are mad as hell.
