We purchased a 2 pc sectional from Ashley Furniture Homestore in Rochester, NY for over $1,000.  Had it in the Family Room for about 5 months till we got transferred to Florida which we used a moving company.  We have been in our new house for one year.  The sofa is in the Living Room which does not get used.  We went to move the sofa in the living room and the board 1 x 2 busted underneath which made all the s springs fly loose and come apart.  We then flipped the sofa over to look at what happened and it was amazing. The sofa is a piece of crap!  All particle board, not even glued or nailed to hold the joints, just loosely stapled! Junk!  We then took pictures of the construction.  I called Customer Service and Amy told me there was nothing they could do because we moved to Florida.  And she also said that the damage was done when the movers handled the furniture.  Nice, customer service!  The sofa has hardly been used and was fine sitting in the living room until we moved it and then it all came loose.

 I know the old saying is, "You get what you pay for it."  But this is just a piece of junk, very poorly constructed.  We would never go back to Ashley Furniture and would not recommend the store to anyone!!! We need more furniture for the Family Room and bedrooms but we will definitely check the construction the next time! I am going to post the pictures on the web.
