Aspire Visa Closed Account and Rasied the Fees Columbus Georgia

I am just like the other thousand of people who's account was closed in 2008. Although the company folded, the interest rates and account fees were raised. I had my account for a few years and was only offered to make changes 1 time now that my account is closed. Usually when a company goes out of business or situations arise on an account, a company would offer some time of finanial relief, promotion, payment program or something to get the balance paid down or paid off. The company offered the promotion 1 time back in February 2009 while my account was closed. I was let go from my job do to the budget crisis here in California. This company will not make or offer no type of help or arrangements on my account. That's wrong! The government is forgiving companies for their debts and offering financial relief. Why aren't the credit card companies doing the same thing for their customers?
