Aspire Visa Aspire Visa paid off debt 2008- trying to collect debt again for the 4th time- this time another lawyer for full pmt. Atlanta Georgia

I paid some of this debt off in 2008.  I paid the original creditor, some money.  He sent it to Midland funding,LLC for collections. I had paid Midland some money as well.  Then they sent it to Porfolio Recovery for collections.  So I paid them some money.  They then sent it to Phillips & Cohen Assoc for collections.  I paid them as well.  I was going through stage 4 breast cancer at the time, and could only pay what I could.  I was getting harrassed at work, at home. I didn't need that at the time.  I was fighting for my life!  I then paid of the remaining balance owed to the collection Agency, which was 2,421.03 nor more.   Now, this is back on my report and they are trying to collect the full original amount plus interest through a new Attorney.   This attorney wants $7,836.18 who is  the collection agency for a federal Pacific Credit company. This is collection agency number 5 and it just reappered on my credit report.  This was not on any of my credit reports in 2012, so why now? This is highway robbery!  I will not pay them 5 times for thier errors .  They are corrupted and should be brought to justice.  Shame on them , what do I do?  Their should be a lawsiut against this company.  They are dispicable!!
