Please be aware of how Health Insurance Agents conduct business.

Most local agents are not Direct Employees of any one insurance company, but are contracted with multiple companies and licensed to recommend or sell those products based on the needs of their clients. It is always a good idea to take the name of the agent and call the Corporate offices of any insurance company and verify that they do hold an active contract with the Insurance Company - you can ask for the full name (with correct spelling) or agent number for these purposes. 
Unfortunately because not all of our agents are direct employees we can not speak to their sales tactics and methods of solicitation. I am sorry if you have had a negative experience with someone representing our products. 

That's why those online health insurance quote services REQUIRE you to input a valid phone# to get the quote. It is a lead generation system that these agents pay for. I did it online back on 10/6/2010 and to this day I still get phone calls from agents all over the country.

I have had well over 100 calls. A very bad system.
