My husband paid a top of the line plan to cover his Honda S2000 car. The warranty stated that it will cover everything listed on the forms for no cost if purchase "The Platinum Plan" and if the miles are not over.
He drove the car and accidently shift to the wrong gear. We took it to the dealer because of some noise and end up paying because the warranty will not fix it due to, "not manufacture breakdown". That's insane..how will anyone know that if you accidently shift to wrong gear, damage the engine.The Warranty will not cover it!
Nothing in the forms state that.

I've give you a clue. If you drive it into a tree. They're not going to fix that either. Nor will they replace a headlight if you smash it with a hammer. Warranties cover breakdowns, not customer caused damage.

My husband and I paid $1300.00 plus $100 standard deductible for Platinum Plan to cover his Honda S2000 car. The warranty stated that it will cover everything listed on the forms for no cost if purchase "The Platinum Plan" and if the miles are not over. He drove the car and accidently shift to the wrong gear. We took it to the dealer because of some noise and end up paying $3,000 to fix it because the warranty will not fix it due to, "not manufacture breakdown". That's insane..how will anyone know that if you accidently shift to wrong gear, damage the engine.The Warranty will not cover it! Nothing in the forms state that. This warranty company has scam our money and we waited over an hour on the automated phone line just to speak with a custumer services. Plus..the coverge we bought was no use at all.
