I had my car stop running, had it towed, had mechanic tear it down to make an estimate, called the Automotive Warranty Services, Inc to open claim and was asked to provide maintenance receipts. I did so, my car now has 70,000- they said that I should have read my auto manual that is in my glove box and whether the shops recommended it or not, I should have known to replace the timing belt....I paid $2,000 for this Gold Warranty in 2004 and have never used it....the Dealer stopped using them for the same reason from what I understand....please let everyone know that this companies email/web address doesn't even exist......lots of complaints against them...they get the money and never honor the warranty...
