Avery Air Conditioning Installed 4 year old system, now needs repair Dallas, Texas

In 2004 we had Avery install a new heating/AC system, replacing the 12 year old builder installed system. The total cost was $6500. Now, 7 years later, we find out that the system was 4 years old at that point... new, but 4 years out of the factory.

Today we learned that the "coils" are leaking and need to be replaced at a cost of $2700. Seven years following the installation of a $6500 system we need to put an additional $2700 into it to keep it functional?

We plan to get a second opinion and rethink our relationship with Avery.
