What is good? Their website is fairly easy to maneuver.
What is bad? Everything else. Fraud, deception, bait and switch, non-qualified "teachers".
They say you get books, ebooks. But you only get partial ebooks, specifically only the chapters they want you to study. You don't get the full ebook, where some things are actually explained that you will miss, if you just use their partial ebook.
Their servers? Hideous! Several times I tried to upload reports 2 hours before they were due, and could NOT get through! I GOT PENALIZED, even with proof!
The instructors, many have no real world experience. How can you teach a business class when you went straight from college, to teaching a business class. Yes, you have "book smarts" (provided you had a whole book and not a partial ebook), but no real life experience? I had instructors tell me how a business should be run when they had never actually tried the methods they were trying to tell me were correct. I am sorry, but TV advertising covers a lot, but if you own a small local shop and don't want to expand and have a small customer base, spending thousands on a saturated ad campaign on TV is NOT going to do anything but put you into bankruptcy!
I have taken and dropped a few classes because of conflicts with instructors. You are allowed to quit after the first week with no charge. I told my advisor, Adam Yeager, I wanted to quit. He kept pressuring me to stay and promised me things to stay and told me things were going to change and that an "investigation" into the class would be conducted. FOUR weeks later, there was no investigation and nothing changed and the promises never came through. So, I quit then and there.
Now I am being hounded by collections for a class that I didn't want to continue, but was forced and pressured into continuing and that I refuse to pay. Financial Manager, Jeff Lunsford, is absolutely no help and does not bend and is just after his cut of the money, which they won't get.
That is just the tip of the iceberg!!! I even had private "chats" with three instructors who said that they advised leaving the school and that they were actively seeking other schools to teach in.
What is this all over? 4 points! They lost my next two years of funding because they backed an instructor who made a mistake, admitted it and yet would not give me 4 points that were due to me. What idiots!
Now THAT is enough to make you wonder.
I am currently in Cxxxxx Txxx (((REDACTED))) and am MUCH happier, although they are not perfect either, but nobody is and I know, expect and accept that.
sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
