Barrier Window Systems Lied and did a poor job installing windows Westmoreland, New York

My wife and I like to get at least three quotes before we decide on a company to use for our projects.  Well, Barrier Window Systems was our second estimate and the sales person named Winston Williams would not leave our house and he kept badgering us into signing a contract to do replacement windows.  We finally agreed just to get him out of our house.  Later I learned from a former employee of Barrier Windows, that was what they were told to do, either get a signature or get physically thrown out of the house.  Well, Mr. Williams said that we would not have to make payments for one year and the payments would be around $200 a month, we were delighted, then the trouble began.  I watched the replacement of my windows and I wondered way they did not score the paint before removing the old windows, needless to say, every window frame was ruined and it looked like a rip and tear job, with broken wood and pealing paint.  They also put some of the windows in the wrong frame.  I complained to Mr. Williams and he offered to come over and help me paint my window frames.  I did not want him anywhere on my property so I declined his offer and also showed him the broken window frames around every window.  He said that they were not responsible for the window frames.  So great, now I am really unhappy, over charged, and a crappy job, I paid $18,000.00 for the new windows.  The best was yet to come, a year goes by and I call the finance company to find out wait my payments would be and I was floored, my payments were over $500 a month.  I had to borrow money from my in-laws to pay off the windows.  I did more research and found out that the sales tactics that were used by Barrier were well known and I was not the only one that has had a problem with this company.  Thank you Barrier for ripping me off.
