My nightmare with these crimminals began in July 23, and earlier in the year 2014.  I received a phone call that informed me that I had "won" a free home improvement package of either a new roof, a siding job, or new windows.  I was flabbergasted and asked many questions and the party on the other end assured me that their services were indeed free and I would not have to pay anything.  Well I thought I would give the OK for a salesman to explain the services that would be provided to me for FREE.  A salesman appeared in a day or so and told me it was not FREE.  What was free was an entry in a contest that if I won the services they provided would then be free.  This salesman was very good and personable and engaged me in conversation and talked me into his measuring all my windows and sliding door in my family room.  I had selected windows by the way.  My windows were energy inefficient.  When he told me the cost would be 14,000 dollars I balked at that and agreed to a lesser pacage with all his encouragement and persuasion techniques.  One broken window and the window next to it and the slider window door in the family room for a total of $4,730.00 .  I was told it would only cost me about $60.00 per month financed.  I singed the papers as I thought I could afford $60.00.

After I had signed the papers he told me it would be more than $60.00 and maybe around $80.00  and finally the total climed to about $100.00 per month a few days later!  Well, after a week or so thinking about all the deception that was involved in this deal I decided to stop it.  I looked at the pile of papers I had signed and I was very nervous at this point and the paper work was piled on my kitchen table and the first sheet was an agreement I had signed.  It stated that I had to cancel by the 28th of July, 2014 so this was the evening of the 28th so I singned the cancellation clause and drove to the post office and deposited it in the night box.  In a day or so I called the company and was told it had been cancelled.  Then I received a phone call from the salesman who said the deal was on and he wanted to deliver the building material.  I told him that I cancelled the sale and he said I only cancelled the financing!  Under the pile was the job and that deadline was different, it was the 24th of July and I was stuck!  He said the had all the material and I had to have it done.  He was insistent and I hung up and have not answered his calls.  I have since retained an attorney to assist me in my battle with this crooked organization.  The determination is yet to be resolved.  I am very concerned now!  How can they make me have the work done?  I cannot pay for it.  I am retired and live on a modest income and cannot afford to pay.  He did not care and said the job would be done.
