I purchased a used vehicle from Big Red Kia. It was a Toyota Tacoma. Online, the "Internet Price" was $30,998 and the "retail price" listed was $33,395. I went into the dealer expecting to pay the internet price, however once we started to talk about down payments, the sales manager mentioned the Internet Price was "assuming a 20% down payment" so the price without this deposit was over $36k. Not only was this above blue book value, NADA value and what other local dealers were charging, it was above what the truck was new. I stupidly bought the vehicle and ended up paying just over $38k. I feel the online sales depiction was deceptive, and when I approached the sales manager about my concerns after the sale, he basically laughed at me. I will never do business with Big Red again and urge no one else to do business with them either.

You went to buy something advertised at $31K, you find out the price is then $34K. Then you sit quietly while the price jumps to $38K. After which you still agree to buy it?!? How is anyone supposed to take your complaint seriously?
" I feel the online sales depiction was deceptive "
If that was the case, why would you buy the truck for $8K more? Most people who feel deceived do not respond by filling the pockets of the perceived culprit with an extra $8K.
