Birch Communications, Inc. BirchConnect Adds Bogus Charges, then Disconnects Service without Notice Atlanta Georgia

We have been a long-term client with Cbeyond.  Within past year Cbeyond was purchased by BirchConnect aka Birch Communications.  Ever since acquisition, service interruptions are frequent, online support is neglible, and phone customer service has disappeared.  Often one would think BirchConnect has gone out of business based on their obvious disregard for the customer.  Had the chance to discuss BirchConnect with a current Birch employee who was previously with Cbeyond, and he agreed that BirchConnect is very disorganized and discombobulated.

Last week we learned that BirchConnect has new difficulties in accepting payments online.  We arranged a wire transfer to pay account in full.  Today BirchConnect added a bogus miscellaneous charge of $850 to our account which brings our account past terms of $500 which resulted in BirchConnect disconnected all of our business lines.  I tried to call, however after waiting 90 minutes on hold, I got the message.  They are no longer in business to help or serve their customers.

We are currently seeking communications alternatives to remedy our BirchDisconnect.  Each day our customers and vendors are unable to contact us translates to lots of money.
