Yes. I had taken a chance on this agency and really, if there is anything I lost, it would be on gas to get around to my events. I find it weird that before I did the event, their website was working and after I worked it, there website is "down for maintenance. I, too, now waiting for my check, have asked Jessica Roberts to cut me my check and I still have not seen it for a month, from this Tuesday. I believe it is very scammish and unlike many previous poster, I have specifics to back up this data. There comes a time when waiting patiently becomes enough.

Also, I do rebut the one positive comment that did say this agency was legitimate. It could be someone related to Jessica, who is trying to offset; however, I do not know. She did say she was from Chicago, so it could be someone from this agency. Anywho, I am still waiting for this check and if it does not show up, I will not rebut this complaint. If it does, I will definitely offset this review. Until then, I will be waiting!

Well, I have to give credit where credit is due, for this agency. They ended up cutting me a check last Friday and it showed up in my mailbox yesterday.

If I had to go out on a limb and say that I wanted to work for this agency again, I would probably not; unfortunately. Yes, they did end up staying true to their word that I would be paid; however, it was done in a very shady scenario.

I checked their website again, just before updating this review, and it looks like they are rebuilding it; but new individuals should always be wary when an agency does not have a clear cut physical address, email address, and phone. It not only goes for this agency; but others as well. I have worked with another agency, actually, where that agency did not have a physical address (very shady).

I think the only con that came out of this was when I befriended Jessica of facebook and told me "they will be sent out Monday 7/5 6:01 p.m" when asked the first time; which of course would mean that they should have been cut on the 7th and then again "They are in the mail 7/12 2:19 p.m." Should I write this off as a staff not knowing when the agency is going to pay the reps? If so, it is either the agency's fault or the rep who booked us on the event, to let us know accurate dates and times of when the check was cut. My check was dated 7/25 and arrived on 22nd. Pretty big delay.

Overall, if anything should be worrisome, it is the amount of time it takes to get paid and misinformation spread from a rep through an agency. I'm not saying it is NOT a good agency to work for, but I would be cautious.

To All Concerned, Be Warned Before Doing ANY Business With Blue Door Marketing

AUTHOR: Unpaidemployee - ()

POSTED: Saturday, July 26, 2014

There is not much to say about Blue Door Marketing in regards to any positive commentary. The company has been an annoyance since day one with their unprofessional demeanor and overall ridiculous business practice in general. We were ill supplied, and had to therefore incur the wrath of various Kroger managers. The managers of various Kroger stores were overall disappointed, to say the least, with the way Blue Door was shorting us with the supplies needed to complete each event successfully.  But the one aforementioned grievance is one of only many that I and my team have had to endure.

The worst possible grievance an employee can have towards an employer is the one that pertains to the fact that you will be unpaid for your services. Blue Door Marketing has been a headache to be sure. But it is the fact that no one has been paid, I know of three employees for certain and there are apparently others, that causes individuals the most concern.  People rely financially on future funds that are supposed to be allotted to their bank account. When that money doesn't arrive, people go hungry, bills aren't paid, and children go unequipped for school Just to mention a few possible issues.

Blue Door's behavior is psychotic. There is no other explanation. They are running a game of scams, trying to obviously find loopholes where they can circumvent the notion that employees should be paid for their services.  HEED MY WARNING BEFORE WORKING FOR BLUE DOOR MARKETING. This warning stands until I am paid, which, from the way things are going, will likely be never. Also, I am boycotting Proctor & Gamble products for contracting such a defunct company in my honest opinion.  If I am paid, and given a logical explanation for the delay other than another obvious runaround, I will update this post. Otherwise, the simple truth is i worked and remain unpaid. Please, pay the people who have worked hard for your company. If you have any empathy, you will.
