How is it a scam if you did work and you did get paid? A scam is fraud. Did you not get paid? I don't understand. If they're all scams, how do these companies stay in business? Can you clear that part up? 

1. I don't even know the person who posted this from the event and I remember almost everyone's names so I am sure she was hired or asked to write this point in Carmen's defense

2. I never had an open container of alcohol in a moving vehicle. (You should really watch what you say online on behalf of what others tell you because lies follow you to the grave and libel is a crime). I DID have an alcoholic beverage in A CAR that was PARKED but the bottle was not open so that is just a flat out lie that Carmen must have told this person to agree with her one. 

3. Yes, I did purchase food with food stamps but according to Texas State Benefits that is considered "cash equivalent" and it does not matter if I purchased the food using rocks. It was told to us by Carmen that "if we purchased lunch or dinner" said meals would be reimbursed. If she saw on the receipt that I purchased food (with the onlyl funds I had - food stamps) with foodstamps and she did not want to reimburse or it was against company policy as the event MANAGER  she had the right not to do so. FYI, if you choose to "feel sorry for someone else" (which I don't need any pitty for my situation. Everyone is not as fortunate of a person who has no need for state benefits at ANY time of their lives, so I understand that I am a child of God and that is what state benefits are for...to help you get back on your feet)...but if you take it upon yourself to feel sorry for someone else and reimburse for funds spent on food, then that is your choice and that is not for that person to feel indebted to you. Carmen returned to my room after dodging me for hours about the reimbursement with someone else's receipt and funds and returned another 5 minutes later with my funds so if she had such a problem (after giving me the runaround BEFORE SHE EVEN SAW MY RECEIPT),  she had ample opportunity to tell me. Not my problem. I would have been fine without the reimbursement because I HAD GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE TO EAT. 

4. How dare anyone mention that I left my baby. How idiotic does that sound. I did have  a sitter who happened to be my pastor to watch my child for that weekend, so that is just a ridiculous and imbusile-like statement to include in an effort to make me look like an abandonment ridden mother when it really makes you look like a heartless coward without a spine to accuse someone of abandoning their child when they stepped out in faith to make some money to feed their baby. wow...Some people will do anything that they are told (nice work Carmen !) 

5. Another LIE that I have a problem with is the fact that if Carmen had such a problem with me, why didnt' she send me home like the other two girls she had a problem with. No one should buy her story about how "she felt sorry for me as a single-mom with little cash" because as an event manager who had just literally a few people to accompany her to San Antonio two days after she had JUST started planning the event, I doubt if it was about her feeling sorry for me. I was a good worker whom she did not want to get rid of because I was DESPERATE and MONEY HUNGRY enough to take a gig from this organization that turned out to be just what I thought: low down and wrong. Again, though, as an event manager she could have sent me home at any time but she made the choice to keep me because I am a good employee who worked hard and I will upload the pictures of all that I did to prove it. I'm sure that that will be hard to deny. Oh, I bet you guys thought I would have deleted those. I think that will conclude my post. 

6. But still, all Carmen had to do was honor HER WORD - not mine - that she would send payment in 2 weeks or at least return my phone call when I tried to reach her about not receiving it. Who cares, AISHA, if you've done 750,000 of these events and you know not to expect payment at a certain time. if someone TELLS YOU AND GIVES YOU THEIR WORD that they will issue payment on a certain date, you're gonna expect it. Sorry you don't have a child and understand what it's like to have another mouth to feed and have some chick who thinks she's entitled lie to you and then get mad because you try to warn others of her lies. It was just probably that she was trying to recruit for her next event and be super nice to us to get us to participate because she said HERSELF that "she waits/would probably wait to the last minute to plan the next event". Long story short, don't get mad becaue you put your own foot in your own big mouth and then try to recruit others to go online to stand up for you when they are CLUELESS ABOUT THE WHOLE STORY ANYWAYS ! 

.7. I feel really sorry for this Aisha Brown person. I dont' even know you and you dont' even know me or my child but just because you are friends with this Carmen girl you are willing to hop on line and tarnish the reputation of someone and their baby who were struggling at the time of this gig. You remind me of the spineless person who hangs with the passe to have a purpose. Let me remind you of something sweetheart. God sees and hears all and I don't mean to throw religion at you so I'll just say it like this: if you dance with those who THINK  they are doing God's work but are really being used by the devil's plans, you're no different, honey.GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL. I don't plan to do any more events of the sort anyways. From what I hear, they're all scams, so I guess you guys lose this one ;) 

I am not familiar with this company (just that there a lot of complaints online against them) and I don't know the person in question. I am just reading this report, as I do with so many reports here.

I am curious as to your accusation that this mother 'left' her newborn. What are you saying? That she abandoned a baby all alone?  OR, do you mean she arranged for care for her child while she took a three day gig in order to generate income (which comes in handy especially with a baby at home).

Just curious as to what you meant exactly.
