Blue Shield of California - declined my application!
I applied for insurance with Blue Shield of California for me and my 3 children. I am 39 years old, and we have never had insurance as we never needed it, but it is safe to have this because I can now afford to get insurance. The only time we ever went to the hospital was because I sprained my ankle, and my son had an ingrown toe nail, and i paid for all this out of my pocket.
AND WE GOT DECLINED?
They then sent me a letter not even telling me i was declined, but that i would qualify for guaranteed insurance, but the monthly payment would be $1200 per month.
IS THIS WHAT AMERICA IS ALL ABOUT NOW?

Nice idea, but not realistic. I did not see any details on how to or I acomplished that. Having Medicare and paying over 100.00 a month for it and not being able to use it due to the PPO I can't afford my meds through. The only one that gets a perk out of this is the Doctors that are able to bill both Blue Shield PPO, Medicare and charge me 1800. year for perscribing certain perscriptions.
Where's the Beef?
Nice head line but dose a Trump at the end.

My deductable with Blue Shield PPO is 2,500. before my bennifits work and I can't afford all my medications and had to choose.
With the Feds interfering with my chronic pain managment, I have been constantly moved to recoded antidepressants or new medications that give me reactions like gaulbalder attacks with the Suboxone. The Morphine I never got adicted to and didn't interfere with my daily life and allowed me to exercise was cheap. Now what they are asking for just the Dr. to write the perscription is stupid. It's so stupid I can't keep my temper when Blue Shield tells me they have nothing to do with the price of medications.
The is PPO Medical Insurance for bank employees at the Managment Level. Taking away the deduction and raising the cost ten fold will cost me alone about 6000.00 and I am on disability.
I am not allowed to save pretax dollars for medical, The only savings pretax I can do is an IRA for 6500..
The best Medicare Advantage Plan dose not cover half of my medications and I would have to drop what I have to get one.
I pay Medicare over 100.00 a month but can not use it but my Doctor can charge both the PPO and the Medicare and 1800. yr fee due to being what is called a Concierge Medicine Doctor when he dosn't understand the meaning of the position.
It takes up to 4 days to get a responce and when I emailed him I was effected by Rat Poisen found inside a pillow case along with Rat droppings due to my partner takeing the poisen out of the protective block, he told me 3-4 days later to just go ride my bike and get some fresh air when I was so bloated I could barley walk.
This Tax deal has effected the disabled and cronicly ill horibly. In california all the Doctors just stoped perscribing the only medicine that eases the pain of a vaccine reaction, ending in Neuropathy.
Morphine is the only medicine that got me walking again and I am being talked to like a three year old, all spin and no facts.
I have gone through all the nerve conduction testing and have the best insurance one of the bigest banks that is growing to point of to big to fail and this is what they offer their Managment. No wonder all the experienced people are leaving or going to Killer Kaiser and taking their chances.
I feel like I am being treated like garbage and the Red Rug at the top has ruined our health care system.
All the healthcare workers are always upset or barley 21 or from the third world and say they can't understand you but won't pull your records.
Suboxone is ruining my Gaulblader and my Dr. wants to wait until all the symptoms are gone before getting any blood tests.
I usually get 7 vials done every time and have liver etc checked but no, this time I got two and yes that was 2.0.
I just don't know what to do?
Just to hang onto three pills a day of the only muscle relaxer that keep my pinched nerves from going off is 1800 a year +.

I suggest you shop around. If you have no prexisting conditions, $1200 is way out of line. Also, lower your deductibles and increase your co-pays to lower your monthly premium. Major medical is all you should get on your kids.
Being realistic, your premium alone could easily be $400 a month, and each kid up to $100. You are looking at $700-$800 a month as a minimum for the 4 of you.
The reason the rates are so high is because of all of the illegals getting FREE care.
That's right. They get it FREE. Just another reason to STOP illegal immigration and the "anchor baby" program we now promote.
Take action if you don't like it.
