Body Of Change / LA Fitness ripoff, business practices, lack of standards for trainers, no oversight by contractor! Help all of us fraudulent ripoff business Atlanta Georgia

Body of Change is not only engaging in deceptive business practices but please read the report from 6/27/03 regarding the personal training...and I quote from that report...

The standard fee structure is between $35 and $50 per 30 minute session. BoC is the only national company that charges by the 1/2 hour versus a full hour. Training for full hour sessions at private training studios ranges, on average, between $40 and $70 per full hour.

Body of Change has no formal or informal training program or training philosophy, nor does it have any stated requirements for trainers. Managers have hired individuals based purely on the fact the trainer looked physically fit him/herself. An "acceptable" training certification is simply completion of any course that is health oriented regardless of content material or testing difficulty.

Everything posted has happened to me......but in addition are all of us aware of the above??

Not only are the business practices disgusting what did we pay for regarding the personal trainers. BOC is a contractor to LA Fitness Gym here...does LA Fitness have NO standards for a training organization they contract with? Does LA Fitness do any oversight with their contractors? Does LA Fitness require any standards at all regarding training? Do any of these trainers have CPR certification? T

here are no standards for this industry having just researched it on the web and it certainly appears that BOC has no standards of any kind as an organization. It appears LA Fitness could careless what type of organization they contract with either....we are not only ripped off with the business practices but also the training as well.

I wonder how many people there are out there that do not post to this site who are being ripped off or who were ripped off. This organization has to be stopped and in this situation LA Fitness should be held accountable as well. This is absolutely outrageous!

Does anyone have any ideas how we can band together and communicate?

Does anyone have any ideas how to inform the public of the deceptive practices of BOC not only with business but training?

Does anyone have any ideas how to hold LA Fitness accountable for their lack of oversight for one of their contractors in their gyms?

Does anyone have any ideas what regulatory agencies we can involve?

We need to band together and communicate and run this group out of business and obtain a refund for the abuse they have caused all of us!
