On Friday March 21st I was proposed to fill-in a survey apparently by Chrome, chrome.google.com-reward.in/pa/it/chrome.html, with the promise of a gift when completing the survey. Trusting Google Chrome (which was not involved as I discovered later on by reading a small claim in the same page), I proceeded to fill the survey in, and at the end I was redirected to the following website managed by BogaBids bogabids.com/landing/it_multiple_product_deals126.php, where to choose the gift from.
In order to conclude the process I was asked to pay for postal expenses €2, that I did using my credit card. I could not register any account nor insert any address where to send the gift. This made me suspicious, and I discovered online that BogaBids is wellknown for cheating people.
Thus I read the small notes in the Bogabids page and I discovered that I had just signed for a 1 day free subscription, and the starting from the day after I would have been charged €39,99 for a monthly regular subscription. I also read from ask-bogabids.com that I could cancel any subscription by sending an email to info@bogabids.com, which I immediately did.
Nevertheless on Saturday 22nd my credit card was fraudulently charged €39,99. Since then I have been in touch via email with Bogabids getting this simple reply "Sorry, we are unable to pull up any account with the information provided."
